We've had a lazy day.  My mom and I got some beef stew going in the crock pot and we've played the Wii and watched movies.  So far we've logged "He's Just Not That Into You" (really good movie but the book, which I have on my Kindle, is not so good), "Mirrors" (scary!), and now we're watching "Enemy of the State".

    Good times.

We spent a quiet day at home today.  That doesn't happen very often and will happen less often when classes start (I made a chart to keep everything straight) so I made sure to enjoy it.  Anthony got the boys' new bed put up in their room.  It's this wonderful trundle bed--a twin size bed and you pull out the drawer to find another twin size bed.  I'd wanted bunkbeds but worried about Holden falling off; this is the perfect bed for them.

So next week I'm going to pick them up a gallon of yellow paint for the walls.  They have a new desk waiting to go into their room, then we'll set them up a computer in there (probably one of the old laptops).

We spent the evening eating pizza and playing Wii Fit.  My Wii Mii is fat, which makes me sad.

I really want to read Sarah Palin's book.  Now, I hate Sarah Palin with the heat of a thousand white hot suns (not as much as I hate Carrie Prejean, but close).  Still, I want to read her book.  It's like reading a tabloid about Tiger Woods or the Gosselin's.  I know it's drivel.  It's fun drivel.

But it's $10 on the Kindle.  Ten dollars.  That's a lot of money for drivel.

    Somebody talk me down.

  • $650

That's how much my textbooks cost for the semester.

    *gulp*

If I show up to class and the professor says that we won't be using this book or that I'm going to chuck it at him.

(and yes, I'm doing my Batchelor's in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on special needs)
